Tucson Sweet Tomatoes will award 20 free meals to best salad
Sweet Tomatoes restaurants in Tucson are asking guests to customize and create their salad and enter the Sweet Tomatoes Sweetest Salad Contest for a chance to win 20 free meals. Sweet Tomatoes in Tucson offers an all-you-care to eat dining experience starting with a 55-foot-salad bars stocked full of the freshest tossed salads, freshly-cut produce and crispy and crunchy toppings to make a winning salad.
Sweet Tomatoes recently added a line of Premium Salad Toppers to the salad bars in Tucson which includes grilled and marinated chicken breast, sweet mandarin oranges, protein-packed tofu and edamame, sliced almonds and artichoke hearts. Premium Salad Toppers will be rotational with plans to offer seasonal vegetables, gourmet cheeses, meats and more.
The rules are simple. Sweet Tomatoes guests are asked to create a salad recipe purely from Sweet Tomatoes items. Guests are asked to submit recipes and photos on facebook, the Sweet Tomatoes website or by email. Guests are asked to submit the Sweetest Salad entry between April 1 and April 30, 2012. Winners will be judged by a point system with a possible score of 100. Points are based on taste (40 points), appearance (30 points), creativity (20 points) and complexity (10 points). One winner will be announced Friday, May 4 and will receive 20 complimentary meal passes and will be featured on Sweet Tomatoes table cards with a recipe and photo of their wining salad.
