It says That this is the place for vegan options BUT there is NOT one vegan option here at all l(Except in Texas…Texas, Really?) !!!!! Please , Please offer more vegan options in all States !!!!
Seriously? Where are the vegan dishes? I was so excited about the ad, but the items you noted are disappointing! Why can’t you include one vegan soup to the everyday menu? This will bring us back to the ABQ restaurant. All we need is ONE VEGAN SOUP ON THE EVERYDAY MENUE. Is this to hard???? VEGAN means NO DAIRY, and NO MEAT. We like the restaurant since it promotes healthy fresh food. Why did they change this???????????
Hi Diana – Thank you for your feedback. We still promote lots of healthy menu options and we try and please everyone’s tastes and dietary restrictions but we often cannot fit everything in our months’ menu. Be sure to continue to check back each month for new vegan options that are available.
Thank you for offering some gluten free options, but labeling them in the stores would be really helpful, especially with the soups. I find myself standing at the soup counter making my best guess as to which one is gluten free. I see it’s on the website, but sometimes by the time you are there it is easy to forget which ones are safe.
Also, have you considered a pasta dish with gluten free noodles? There are many on the market that are very good. And gluten free brownies are easy to make and delicious.
Just some ideas. We eat out here often because my kids (5 and 2) love it and eat really well here, so I would love more options for myself.
Thanks for your input, Nancy.
Is the gluten free desert also dairy free?
I’ve had the Santa Fe Black Bean outside of TX, so I’m not sure why it says only available in that state. You’d have a lot more vegan options if you did not add cheese to some dishes, but put it on the side for customers to add on their own. It would open a lot of possibilities for me and my family and we would definitely come more often.
PLEASE OFFER MORE VEGAN OPTIONS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SOUPLANTATIONS! C’MON IS THE ONLY VEGAN OPTION YOU CAN OFFER EVERY MONTH IS POTATO & DO IT YOURSELF SALAD BAR? AT LEAST OFFER VEGAN SOUPS!!
The Vegetarian Harvest soup used to be listed as Vegan. Did something change (okay..) or was it never vegan in the first place (pissed!)
Please clarify, thanks!
Hi Billy – We have changed our recipe slightly so that our Vegetarian Harvest is no longer a vegan option. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
Too bad, was a great soup, but i do appreciate the quick reply
Really disappointed in the Veterans Day requirements..A lot of us have served but are not currently serving or retired therefore we won’t have a military ID…How can we participate? Thanks, really enjoy your great food…
Hi Tommy – Anyone who indicates they are a present or past military member will receive this deal just because a Vet may not have a form of paperwork on them 🙂
Can you tell me if the vegetarian options you offer at the Coral Springs FL location are also dairy free? It’s hard to tell. Also, are they labeled vegetarian in the restaurant so I know what to pick and what not to pick? Having ingredients posted on the website would be helpful as well. Whole Foods posts all ingredients on their salad bar and hot foods to go. This would be really helpful. Thank you!
Hi Kirsten – Thank you for your suggestions. At this time all of our location managers have a full list of ingredients for all of our menu items for you to take a look at.
I would really like to see a more complete list of GF items. For example, are all of the salad dressings GF? Is the fudge sauce (dessert) GF? We did find enough choices for my son who has a wheat allergy, and we did enjoy our meal, but it would have been helpful to have a list posted at each store that includes not just the prepared foods/ soups but the toppings and extras also. Thank you!
Hi Alison – Thank you for the suggestion. We try and include everything but the list often gets very long. If you ever have any questions the manager at your location will have a full list of ingredients for you to take a look at.
I appreciate the hand sanitizer offered at the restaurant, however it should be placed at the cashier area so you can use it after handling all the salad utensils and money. It is so disgusting to see people sampling items off their plates – popping them into their mouths with their fingers and then touching the utensils that others have to use next. Please move the sanitizer!!
Could you please share the recipe for your delicious Tomato Basil soup?
I would also like to see your lemon salad dressing and your Caesar dressing offered with the other dressings. Thank you.
Thank you for the suggestion, Laurie.
please add at least one soup that is gluten free, I do eat the chili but get tired of that,. all it takes is to use cornstarch for thickening instead of flour. the girl at the soup bar told me that flour is the ingredient that makes it non gluten free. cornstarch makes a nice soup base. I feel that I don’t get my moneys worth here as I can’t eat any bread, soups or much else. I do get to eat a baked potato. it would be nice to have a gluten free pasta to put the chili on or to put in my salad. and the gluten free brownie sounds great also. would love whatever you can do. My other half loves this place to eat I am a little cool if I have to spend $12 on a salad.
Thank you for the suggestion, Jan.
Is this month’s special pumpkin soft serve gluten-free? Also, is there a listing as to which salad dressings are gluten-free? Thank you.
I also would like to know if the pumpkin soft serve is gluten free (i would assume so but you never know) also i saw an ad for autumn squash soup, is that gluten free?
Please offer one gluten free veg soup on a regular predictable basis. I’m bringing ten people to your restaurant tonight, but no soup for me. Your chili has ground up random dead cow parts in it- I think your occasional (delicious) Santa Fe black bean chili doesn’t? Would sure be great to count a soup to go with my salad and potato for dinner tonight! Like another poster suggested, soup is easily thickened with corn starch : )
I see your disclaimer that ‘gluten free’ is free of gluten ingredients but cross-contamination may occur or ingredients be swapped. For individuals diagnosed with celiac disease this can be detrimental. Are the employees trained on preparation, handling and best practice for those items for purpose of food allergies and celiac disease. I quit eating at your restaurant a couple years ago as I had to examine ingredients listed in the restaurant’t recipe instructions book for each item and there were still too many questions. Previously I submitted online requests for each food item to include a list of the top 8 allergens under the name of the food item. Your clarification in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Terry, we do strive to keep our gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian items free from cross contamination. However, due to the fact we prepare and serve so many different items multiple times a day we cannot promise that there will be no cross contamination at this time.
