SWEET TOMATOES CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY WITH KAY YOW FOUNDATION
On Saturday, July 10, the Cary Sweet Tomatoes, located at 2310 Walnut Street will celebrate its ten-year anniversary with a special party complete with an all-day banana split bar for guests. The event will also serve as a fundraiser for the V Foundation, benefiting Kay Yow and the WBCA Cancer Fund, an organization committed to being a part of finding an answer in the fight against women’s cancers through raising money for scientific research, assisting the underserved and unifying people for a common cause.
The Cary Sweet Tomatoes restaurant will donate 10 percent of lunch and dinner sales for the entire day on July 10. Sweet Tomatoes has been an on-going partner with the foundation and Kay Yow for many years. Sweet Tomatoes has been involved with sponsoring events benefiting WBCA and hosting fundraisers for the past few years.
Anniversary party guests will enjoy a banana split bar at Sweet Tomatoes featuring soft- serve yogurt, bananas, strawberry and pineapple toppings, various syrups, sprinkles, granola and peanuts to top their banana split creations. Sweet Tomatoes provides a healthy salad bar full of fresh, seasonal vegetables and tossed salads, made-from-scratch soups, hand-crafted muffins, focaccia and breads and tasty desserts.
