Sweet Tomatoes Offers Sweet Deal:  $5 All-You-Care-To-Eat at New Boynton Beach Location in November

Pre-opening “fun-raiser” benefiting United Way of Palm Beach County

The newest Sweet Tomatoes, located at 1100 N Congress in Boynton Beach, is scheduled to open on Monday, November 8. To celebrate the grand opening, Sweet Tomatoes has partnered with the United Way of Palm Beach County, by hosting a preview fundraiser event on the following dates:

  • Friday, November 5, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 6, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

For only five dollars, guests can enjoy Sweet Tomatoes’ 45-foot salad bar full of fresh, seasonal vegetables and tossed salads, made-from-scratch soups and hand-crafted muffins, focaccia, breads and desserts. Sweet Tomatoes will donate 100 percent of the proceeds to the United Way of Palm Beach County, a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families in Palm Beach County by uniting the resources of donors, volunteers, agencies and the community. United Way funds programs focused on its three Targeted Care Areas of education, income and health. Through its focus on health, United Way funds programs that promote health and improve access to health care.

The new Boynton Beach location will offer a rotating menu of more than 100 original, made fresh daily recipes featuring signature salads, soups, bakery goods and hot pasta sauces, at an all-you-care-to-eat price.  All food is prepared without the use of artificial flavors, colors, additives or artificial trans fats.  A different food theme is featured each month and the most popular menu items are rotated every two weeks.  Items are showcased on a 45-foot salad bar and prepared exhibition style every 20 minutes.

Sweet Tomatoes seeks to be a vital and contributing part of each community in which it operates. To reach this goal, restaurants offer a “Fun-Raiser” program through which charities, churches, schools, athletic teams, scout troops and other non-profit organizations may raise funds by hosting in-store events. The restaurants assist in marketing the non-profit’s event by creating master flyers for distribution and promotion.

  2. Hello,
Judith, my significant other and I dine about every 1 1/2 weeks at your Palm Beach Lakes Blvd, WPB, FL, location. Without fail, we have a satisfying dining experience: what’s not to like about fresh foods and a happy, glad-you’re-here attitude wait staff! Both of us are seniors, so we have to watch our budgets and our waistlines; we happily report that Sweet Tomatoes helps us reach both goals.
Why I write: if Palm Beach County were to let a contract for in-school meals (lunch, mainly), please consider bidding. As a substitute teacher who worked at several of the so-called magnet schools, I experienced, first hand, how the children, immediately following their lunch period(s), were lethargic afterward, or disruptive because they were acting out their lunchtime frustrations in the classroom. I saw this behavior pattern repeat often, so I tried eating with them. OMG, what an awful experience. If we are to have active, enjoyable learning, we need well-fed learners and teachers. I hope you will consider my request.
    Thank you,
    Robert Wollins

  5. I LOVE Sweet Tomatoes I used to live in West Palm Beach and I went constantly. I moved to Boynton about 2 years ago and I hated that there wasn’t one near by and in the past 2 years I’ve only been able to go a couple times. I can’t tellyou how happy I am that you opened one in Boynton. I’ll be one of the regulars 🙂

  6. Been a Sweet Tomatoes regular since 1997. I was thrilled to find out Boynton Beach was opening a location. Just visited it this afternoon. Hate to say it, but I was disappointed. The restaurant is just way too small. Appears to have about half the seating of other area locations. I got there at 3PM, to avoid lunch crowd, and was stuck waiting for a table for close to 15 minutes. What on earth will they do when the busy snowbird season begins shortly? Why oh why would Sweet Tomatoes build such a small restaurant in such an overcrowded area? Get ready for a lot of walkouts and complaints by seniors.

  7. I entirely agree with Dave in Boynton, we visited the new restaurant in Boynton Beach last Friday and the line was out the door. It was 45 minutes before we got to the cash register and given a table. I travel the U.S. in my work and have visited quite a few Sweet Tomatoes over the last several years including Boca Raton and Ft. Lauderdale locations. By far this one in Boynton is the smallest I have ever been in, half the size of the others. Dave is so correct, once the influx of snow birds arrive there will be tons of complaints and lots of walkouts, not just by seniors by everyone!

  8. I love SWEET TOMATOES in general, and for your consideration of those who are
strictly vegetarians and those with sugar restrictions.

When are you coming to Phila.?

  9. hi guys,

  10. My favorite dessert at Souplantation is the chocolate chip cookie, especially when they are still warm. Souplantations chocolate chip cookies are the best! I enjoy them because they are very soft and chewy, and have the perfect number of chocolate chips (I do not care for way too many chocolate chips in a cookie. Too many chocolate chips is overwhelming and takes away from the overall taste of the cookie). Now I’m looking forward to my next visit to Souplantation!!
    O

  11. Hi there, the hubby and I LOVE Souplantation. We see that there’s a Souplantation Express opening in Bressi Ranch (Carlsbad). What is Souplantation Express? And when is it opening? We’ll be the first in line. Thank you!

  12. When I travel to California I always make a visit to Souplantation! I am sad that I only can eat there once a year. When will you bring one to Cleveland Ohio or one of its suburbs? Please, Please, Please!!!!

  14. I love this location and the very best freshest salad at any of the sweet tomateos i’ve been too. The astmopshere is out of this world! I feel like I’m in Disney on a vacation with the whole family. I also take my work staff there regulary – We Love It!!
