  1. Today Feb 18,2013 I went to your Boca Raton, Florida restaurant.. I had a 25% coupon to be applied to the entire check. When I submitted the coupon the cashiei thought this was a forgery and she called the manager. I told him that I printed this coupon from your site, but he told me they do not have a key for this. I don.t know about any key all I know is that I had a coupon for 25% with an expiration date of 3/23/13, whicih was not accepted. We were very disappointed, we are seniors and live on a fixed income, so this 25% would have been nice.
We did have a very nice lunch, we just spend more than anticipated.
Why do you have this coupons and then do not honor them.
    Thank you.
    Eva West

    1. Hi Eva – we are so sorry for the trouble. It may have been a coupon that was only good at the re-opening of a California based location.

  2. I’ve been asking for about this for years, and there it goes again:

When will you open a restaurant in the Indianapolis area?

Please – I promise to be there at least once a week.

    A. May

  3. I visited my in-laws in Las Vegas last week. They took my husband and I to Sweet Tomatoes in Vegas and we just love it. We liked it so much that we requested to eat there again before our return home. I have never been to Souplantation or Sweet Tomatoes. It is such a wonderful healthy restaurant. We need restaurants like that here on the East Coast. Is this a franchise or how can you help to get one opened here in Dela-where? We really need a healthy restaurant like yours here in our state. You provide so many choices in the foods, salads, deserts. No restaurant compares to yours here. You would do so well.

    1. Hi Pat – Thank you so much for visiting and your kind words! All of our locations are actually company-owned and we do not franchise our locations at this time. We don’t currently have any expansion plans on the East Coast but we always like to know where we are wanted next!

  4. What happened to the plans to open a Soup Plantation in Chino Hills, CA? I noticed that the sign stating that it’s coming soon is no longer posted.

    What happened?

      1. May 10, 2014

        Dear Soup Plantation Rep.

Could you please tell me when you will be open for business.
We have been waiting for over a year…..
First the Soup Plantation signs went up around May of 2013
Then they went down. Just showing a for lease sign.
Now the sign is back. What is going on?
Please can you give me a positive DATE?

        1. Hi Bridget – Our Chino Hills location will be open this year, but we do not have a definite date at this time.

      2. Ashley
I have been waiting since the first time I heard about the new Souplantation opening in chino hills and I desperately want a job there. I turned 17 in March and iv had my heart set on working there for the longest time. Does anyone know when they begin hiring?

        1. Hi Ashley – Our Chino Hills location has had their soft opening and have hired some of their team. Please visit or call the location to see if you can submit an application. Good luck!

  5. We really need a Sweet Tomato out in the Gresham, Oregon area. That way people from the outlying areas could come in. People living in Sandy, just a short 7 mile commute, have a ratio of higher income people, who are searching for healthy options. I just read this in our local paper! Please consider moving at least into the Gresham/Wood Village area! There is nothing out there that compares. Our sizzler moved locations and they were always packed and the salad bar was the main event.

  6. I would like to suggest that you consider taking a look at building a Soup Plantation in the City of Marysville, CA. Marysville is located in Yuba County and our local hospital is currently undergoing a huge 225 million dollar hospital expansion. It is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2015. Our hospital, Rideout Regional Medical Center serves not only the citizens of Yuba County (population 72,155), but also Sutter County (population 94,737), Colusa County and parts of Butte County and Nevada County, as well. Within 5-10 minutes of the City of Marysville there is the community of Linda, Olivehurst, Plumas Lake (all in Yuba County) and Yuba City (in Sutter County) with a cumulative population of over 100,000 people. There is a real need in our City for a Soup Plantation. A Soup Plantation would definitely bring patrons in from all over our county and the neighboring county of Sutter. It would also accomadate the staff at the hospital and family and friends who are visiting a loved one at the hospital. We have nothing like it anywhere near us. So please consider checking out our City of Marsyville. I could help to facilitate a discussion or meeting with the Marysville City Manager. Thank you for your time and consideration!

  7. Do you offer people the ability to purchase a franchise? I visited a Sweet Tomatoes in IL and loved every minute of it. I think it would be a big hit in Michigan!

Or are you opening one up in Michigan…preferably Troy area. This area is a tech area and a lot of other businesses. People would be coming during all times of the day.

Thank you for your consideration in this urgent matter

  8. You said to anticipate Souplantation in Chino Hills late 2013.
Is it still going to open? I saw that they are building something in that plaza where the sign was up before but not sure if it will be Souplantation?

          1. May 2014 now? What’s your problem, Souplantation? We’ve been waiting for this place for way too long and now you’re risking people not even caring when you finally get around to it. Make it a priority!

          2. Hi Brian – We are so sorry for the unforeseen delays. We are working as hard as possible to open a great new location for you!

          3. Don’t worry about his comment. True fans of Souplantation will always care and are patiently waiting!

  9. Thanks for continuing to update us about the Chino Hills location. We have been waiting for years! For the past ten or so years, we have been driving to either Brea or Rancho Cucamonga for our Souplantation fix. We in Chino Hills are waiting, and we are hungry!! 🙂

  10. We visit the Sweet Tomatoes in West Palm quite often….love the salads, soups, and breads. I was quite disappointed when we visited the past couple of times. I am a vegetarian for health reasons, and none of the artisan salads nor ‘already made salads’ were vegetarian. They all had bacon or fish in them. Also, with the six soup selections, there were only two…the Asian broth (which I don’t care for, but that’s my own preference) and broccoli and cheese (which I eat very little cheese or dairy…again my preference) that were vegetarian. So, I’m wondering if Sweet Tomatoes is getting away from offering many selections to vegetarians/vegans. If so, there’s nothing I can do about it except be quite disappointed. But, thank you for the good eats I’ve tasted in the past. I’m really not complaining, but wondering.

    1. Hi Sue – We change our featured menu items each month and do our best to please everyone’s personal tastes and dietary restrictions. However, it is often difficult to fit everything on the bar. We hope during your next visit you will find something that satisfies you more 🙂

  11. I called the brea location and they said June 10th for the opening in Chino Hills. I starting to wonder if the left hand knows what the right hand is doing.

    1. Hi Julie – We don’t yet have a confirmed Grand Opening date. We thank you for your patience.

  12. My mom is really excited about you opening,
But it’s taking a long time. I don’t want to rush you
Although it is taking a long time

  13. It is MAY 2014…Are you ever going to tell CHINO HILLS California residents when you will be opening a location in Chino Hills? The question is still not answered and sadly, there is no sign of hope.

    1. Hi Adriana – We will notify all of our plans as soon as we have an official date! Thank you so much for your patience as we have experienced some unforeseen bumps along the road to our opening.

  14. Hello, I was looking to apply at your Chino Hills location. I have printed and filled out your application and was wondering where and when i could hand it in. Thank You

  15. Oh Souplantation!!! It’s June 2nd and you’re still not opened in Chino Hills!! Do we have a date yet?? Pleeeease?!?! Thanks!

And p.s. Please advise your Rancho location to stop advising people you’re open in Chino Hills! I drove all the way over there with my kids (who can’t wait for you to open) only to see you’re not open yet. We were all disappointed and frustrated with incorrect info!

    1. Oh no, we’re so sorry for that, Andrea! We don’t have an opening date for you quite yet, but will be sure to update everyone on our Facebook and Twitter when we do!

  16. Hi, it’s mid-June, the 15th. Do you have an exact date for the Chino Hills opening yet? I live so close by and am looking forward not to driving so far for Souplantation. Thank you! 🙂

  17. ***ATTENTION!!!*** Fellow Chino Hills residents, at long last, Souplantation Chino Hills is NOW OPEN!!
