  • The Classic Tossed Salad Tournament Winner: California Cobb Salad
  • The Signature Tossed Salad with Fruit Tussle Winner: Smoked Turkey & Spinach Salad

  1. Very very very very Very disappointed, that lemon cream pasta did not win!!!!!!!!!…that is probably the only reason I would visit!!!! Also don’t like the way you did the voting this year!!!! Half the time I was not able to vote and when I did, not sure if it went through!!!

    1. Hi Darcy – We are so sorry your favorite didn’t win. To be sure, all of your votes did go through, however, to submit your info to win our contest was only accepted on a 24 hour basis (which caused some people to have to vote). We still hope to see you soon to try our offerings!

  2. There’s always something in your menu changes that I enjoy and keep coming back for more. I’m glad you have some “regulars” like the broccoli salad, Chunky (now not so chunky) Chicken Soup, Chili (with some hamburger meat mixed in) — but miss the regular Cream of Mushroom soup. I think your heavy all-metal chairs will be too cold this winter to sit on! I’m also afraid that one of these days I will drop your heavy all-metal tray filled with my plate of food and drinks! Music could be a little less intrusive too. I’ll keep coming for the good food though! Employees are very friendly also.

    1. Thank you for your feedback, Margaret. If you ever need help carrying your tray, just let one of our fantastic and helpful staff members know!

  3. I really like the Clam Chowder which I didn’t see to vote on…mostly like your specialty salads. Employees are very nice, but atmosphere could be improved on if you get quieter music. I always ask the cahier to turn it down. it would make it much more relaxing if this was taken care of.

  4. Soooo sad to see chocolate lave cake win. I am allergic to chocolate and that is all my local sweet tomatoes ever has for dessert besides ice cream. Whenever there is a new dessert it is for literally 3 days and my husband and I miss it every time!

    1. We’re sorry, Tracy. Be sure to “like” us on Facebook so you can see when we have upcoming dessert promotions to try something different!

  5. Why even bother with votes? Winning items consistently have the highest fat content, or the most meat. I try to eat healthily and plant-based, which makes Sweet Tomatoes a pretty good weekly dining option 11 months out of the year. But not in February. And before “Admin” reminds us of this, I’m well aware of the lower-fat options offered in January (I believe I have it right).

    1. Hi Steve – We are so sorry for your disappointment. However, we asked our guests to vote on their favorites and these were the winners. We hope that there are a few items you will enjoy in addition to our regular favorites that will be offered in February.

  6. I agree with Tracy. I can’t eat the chocolate lava cake either. I was really looking forward to something different. The lave cake is on almost every week. I wish the sweet tomato & basil mozzarella salad wouldn’t have won either. I can’t eat that either because it’s made with whole wheat pasta. I wish the seafood shells would have won. I am very disappointed in this menu. I would have also like the chocolate peanut butter cookie bars to be on this menu but that wasn’t even a choice in the voting. I hope they put it on anyway.

    1. Hi Beth – We are sorry for your disappointment in our winners. Remember, we’ll ask all our guests to vote again next year – you can recruit your friends to get your faves to win!

  7. I didn’t even know this is happening, but my favorite items made it on! Glad to see others love the chicken pot pie stew and the creamy tomato soup with the grilled cheese focaccia! Make sure to have the delicious biscuits over which to pour the chicken pot pie stew to make it a real chicken pot pie!
